Station Construction Grant
Klamath County Fire District No. 1 is issuing a
Request For Proposals (RFP) for Architectural and Engineering Design Services - Fire Station 3.
Primary funding for the work will be provided by a $3.536 million dollar American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Assistance to Firefighters Station Construction Grant awarded to the Fire District in December of 2009, and authorized by the Fire District Board of Directors on September 20, 2011.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Until, but not after, the hour of 2:00 PM on December 30, 2011
MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: December 14, 2011 at 1:30 at the Center for Occupational Health located at 2621 Crosby Avenue

RFP FOR ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF
FIRE STATION NO. 3
Questions and answers in response to Request For Proposals (RFP) for Architectural and Engineering Design Services - Fire Station 3.
Per the instructions outlined in the "Request for Proposals (RFP) for Architectural and Engineering Design Services - Fire Station 3", the following companies have successfully submitted a proposal by the deadline of 2:00pm, December 30, 2011:
1. Peck, Smiley and Ettlin Architects; Portland OR
2. ORW Architecture; Medford OR
3. RSS Architecture; Woodburn OR
4. HSR Architecture; Bend OR
Klamath County Fire District No. 1 has evaluated the proposals received for Architectural and Engineering Services. Interviews were conducted with the three successful proposers. Below is a list of the finalists, in final ranking order:
1. Peck Smiley and Ettlin Architects, Portland OR
2. HSR Architecture, Bend OR
3. ORW Architecture, Medford OR

Notice of Intent to Award:
Upon review of the proposals and interviews with each of the three proposers, the Fire District has elected to issue a “Notice of Intent to Award” a contract to PSE Architecture.

End of Intent to Award Protest Period:
In accordance with mandatory Oregon Public Contracting Laws the mandatory seven (7) day protest period for protesting the Notice of Intent to Award expires at 4:00 p.m. (PST) on February 3, 2012.
